Perfect Opportunity to Buy a New Car!

So there is really no perfect time to buy a new car. But is there perfect opportunity to buy a car?
The answer is YES and NO!
YES because IF some one has all the time in the world and is monitoring deals from 1000's of dealers, day in and day out and is on ALL email lists of these dealers and visits dealers on daily basis... he or she may get perfect opportunity to steal a vehicle (buy it cheaper than normal). But in all reality this is not possible.. that is why the NO comes in.

So it is more of pure co-incidence and luck that some one gets a deal of a life time. Not because he or she is smart shopper or anything like that. I have worked for same dealership for more than 6 years and I have never been able to say THIS particular deal is perfect deal.

My advice would be IF you are in no hurry and have up to 12 months to buy a car, then get on ONE* dealer email list and read the emails and offers from this dealer as often as you get them. IF you go for more than 2 months (or even more than 1 month) and you do not get any email from this dealer... you may need to change dealers or send another request so that they know you are still in the market. Sooner or later you will find in your in-box an email that you have been waiting for.

IF you are in town and you are ready to make a move (preparedness meets opportunity) then you may have that deal of life time.

For instance, this week is Thanksgiving week and the days following Thanksgiving day our dealership will have unprecedented sales event (Friday, Saturday and even Sunday)

Some people will be in town, and in position to take advantage of the sale (perfect opportunity) and they will attend... that is success in finding the very best deal possible.

Unfortunately some people will be out of town, away from computers, or not financially ready.

*[I put ONE dealer to mean one dealer of each make you are shopping, because some times consumers confuse them selves by being on mailing lists of several dealers and each dealer is sending them information they think the customer wants based on customer request... and the customer indeed (though they may not realize) have requested different vehicles or different trim for same model from different dealers... if just reading this makes you confused then the customer gets even more confused whey they receive offers because they are not apple to apple comparison. The custome has not been to the store yet, but she or he starts saying it is complicated, dealers are cheaters etc.. while in reality most of it is confusion caused by the researcher itself. The confusion can be removed in 10 minutes of being on the phone with right consultant or visiting the store and speaking to a consultant.]
