OK... in my last posting, I tried to remove the myth about "perfect time to buy a car".
I know though deep inside we have been given to believe that there is either a 'perfect time to buy a car' if not, there must at least be some days that are more favorable than others.
This is also a tough one because there are way too many factors involved, but I will agree that some days are better than others to buy a car'.
I know every one wants to know upfront what days are they?
For me, that is every day that ends with 'day' except Sundays! (just kidding)
Let's look at this in different angles
95% customers life style:
Unless you are a stay at home mom either without kids or empty nester, or unless you work from home or are financially successful to where you have a choice to be home through out the week, chances are you are part of the 80%'s
80% and 95% don't match! True doesn't match at all.
80% of people do 9 to 5 till 65, but now with this economy its more like 9 to 5 till 75 or 85!
There is 15% that either own a small business (or some small businesses, I am talking about businessess that require personal presence) or just don't have a job (not that they do not want to).
So the 95%er's life style is working 5 to 7 days a week. About 70% are typically free on Saturdays and Sundays, with weekend starting Friday afternoon.
Most families take Friday afternoon to start unwinding and catching up with last few activities of kids in school. So that leaves only Saturday and Sunday for groceries, house hunting, car hunting, costume hunting etc.
As far as car buying is concerned, Saturday becomes one biggest day in car sales week.
Typically there are more customers in stores than there are sales people.
On days like Saturday's it is best that you set an appointment AND confirm the appointment if you want full and undivided attention.
The reason I say confirm is a whole new topic which I will cover later.
Monday's dealers are completing the Friday & Saturday business. By 2PM, all the meetings done, all the the selling rush is up again. In my opinion
